Hyderabad, March 14, 2005

Six lakhs postal workers in the country will go on an indefinite strike from Tuesday against repeated violation of agreements and dishonoring of commitments according to union leaders.

They demanded stoppage of closure of post offices, RMS and MMS offices and filling of vacant post as agreed upon 18th December 1998.
