Bomb hoax - Godavari Express held

West Godavari, March 13, 2005

A threatening call by an unidentified person to Rajahmundry railway station claiming that a bomb had been planted in S-1 coach of Visakhapatnam - Hyderabad Godavari Express caused a flutter on Sunday.

he Station superintendent alerted his counterpart in Nidadavole and as the train reached Nidadavole, the police and bomb squad conducted an intensive search of the train. After the search, the police confirmed it is a hoax.
