The CPI (Maoist) has decided to take a plunge in relief operations in the tsunami affected areas in the State. The party spokesman, D Amar said on Saturday that rice worth Rs 50 lakhs would be distributed to the affected families. Each Tsunami-hit family would get 25 kgs of rice.
The party is deputing its teams to the tsunami affected areas of West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Nellore for undertaking relief operations.
