Visakhapatnam, January 7, 2005

The Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased its pulse duration as well as rate per call unit for local public telephones. The pulse duration of all local calls to basic services, including Wireless in Local Loop, fixed and limited mobile and to cellular phones has been increased from 90 seconds to 120 second and the rate per call unit goes up from the existing Rs. 1 to Rs. 2 according to the General Manager of BSNL Visakhapatnam Telecom District.
