In a rare incident, a woman allegedly killed her two children and dumped their bodies in the sump of her neighbor's house under LB Nagar police station limits on Sunday and later tried to commit suicide. On a complaint by neighbors, the police arrested her. According to police sources, the accused has taken the extreme step as she was furious with her husband allegedly a drunkard for not returning home that night.
