TDP sarpanch's brother killed

Anantapur, January 18, 2005

The brother of a Sarpanch belonging to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was hacked to death allegedly by naxal sympathizers at Mukundapuram village in Garladinne mandal of the district. The victim was the brother of Peddanna. According to police, the group of Peddanna had differences with another group led by Maoist sympathizer for the last few years.
