Maoists have taken a serious note of the reported movement of police parties in the guise of commuters in buses run by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) in Devarakonda division. In a bid to prevent movement of police personnel, naxals have for the first time asked the APSRTC authorities not to run its services to certain interior hamlets till further orders.
The naxals also asked the tribals not to travel by APSRTC buses. They say that the Police Development is using two red colored buses to transport its personnel from district headquarters to naxal affected areas. The Devarakonda Depot Manager confirmed, that naxals had issued a stern warning to his crew against running services from for Kambalapally and other areas.
