Fair recruitment assured by APPSC chief

Hyderabad, January 1, 2005

The Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), P Ramulu said all recruitment tests conducted by the Commission will be fair and transparent. Speaking to the reporters on Saturday after speaking with the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, he advised the aspirants to prepare well for the examinations.

Merit and hard work alone would fetch rich dividends, he said and advised not to give credence to the false promises of some unemployed youth. He said the vacancy position in Group I services had been presented to the High Court and all posts would be filled as per rules. In all 3500 posts for various categories are to be filled this year.
