Panchayat Raj official nabbed by ACB

Visakhapatnam, February 5, 2005

The Panchayat Secretary of Mulagapadu village in Nathavaram mandal in the district RM Williams was caught red-handed by ACB on Saturday. According to an ACB release, he was caught in his office when he demanded an accepted Rs 10000 as bribe to hand over the title deeds.

The tainted amount was recovered on his table and chemical tests confirmed his fingerprints on the notes. The accused will be produced before the Special Judge for CBI cases according to the ACB Director General SSP Yadav.
