The Government on Monday selected contractors for awarding 22 major packages worth Rs 4606 crores relating to mega irrigation projects. The selections were made after the price bids received from the contractors for 30 packages were at Jala Soudha.
The packages will be awarded to them, in two days after further scrutiny by the Evaluation Committee and High Power Committee, the first headed by the Irrigation Advisor P.Sitapatirao and the latter by the Chief Secretary.
