A police constable was critically injured by a three member gang of Bangladeshi nationals at Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district on Tuesday. He was rushed to the hospital where he was in a coma. The constable was attacked when he tried to foil the attempts of the gang to rob the local Head Post Office.
According the police sources, the gang entered India from Bangladesh on November 29. Three members of the gang were preparing a ground to strike the post office and the constable who noticed the miscreants tried to catch them. During the course of action, the constable was attacked by the gang.
