Barely a day after Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Congress was prepared to go it alone in the next elections, APCC President D Srinivas, on his part, came up with a statement that the door of the party are always open to all opposition parties except the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Bharateeya Janatha Party (BJP).

APCC celebrated the Congress Party Foundation Day at Gandhi Bhavan

The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) celebrated the Congress Party Foundation Day at its headquarter, Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday with a call to its workers to rededicate themselves for the development of the country. APCC president, K Keshava Rao hoisted the party flag and traced the history of the party. Dr.Keshava Rao said that the Government led by YS Rajasekhara Reddy was spending huge amounts on social welfare and backward classes welfare.

The function was attended by the Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Minister for Tourism J Geetha Reddy and political Advisor to the Chief Minster KVP Ramachandra Rao. State Seva Dal chief K.Janardhan Reddy along with Seva Dal workers was present.
