CM expresses satisfaction at arrangements

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhara Reddy has expressed satisfaction at the arrangements being made for the Kalachakra event at Amaravathi. Interaction with Guntur District Collector G.Jayalakshmi and other districts heads and secretaries of the concerned departments on Kalachakra at a video conference on Monday, he noted that everything is going on well.

The Chief Minister said that he would take a decision on the plea made by the organizers to fix power tariff o be collected from tents at Rs.1.40 per unit as against Rs.6.20 ordered buy the AP Electricity Regulatory Commission on any temporary connection. The Secretary, Tourism V Nagi Reddy announced a few more extra facilities for the event. He said a 1000 line telecom facility would be set up at Amaravathi by BSNL and Reliance. Representatives from South Central Railway said all trains from Hyderabad, Guntur and Vijayawada would be added extra coaches during the event from January 5 to 16 with reservation facility at Amaravathi itself and shuttles would be run between Guntur and Vijayawada. Kalachakra wards are being opened at Guntur general hospital and some corporate hospitals.
