Nellore Municipal Commissioner sent for Judicial Custody

Nellore Municipal Commissioner, S Charles Umapathy who was trapped by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday for allegedly accepting Rs.50,000 from a contractor was remanded to judicial custody till January 6 and his bail application was posted for Monday. The orders were issued on Saturday by the District and Sessions Judge NRL Nageswararao and the official was shifted to district prison.
