The Cabinet has decided to rename the NTR Health University by adding prefix 'Dr' acknowledging the Doctorate received by the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Late Sri. NT Rama Rao. The change in the name would come into effected through a legislation or executive order whichever is applicable.
The Cabinet which met on Friday on the eve of the Assembly session beginning Saturday adopted a resolution to maintain status quo regarding the gram panchayats and mandals without reducing their number on which speculations are rife these days.
