Action plan to create 15 lakh acre ayacut
Hyderabad

The State Government is contemplating taking up Rs.5200 crore action plan to create new ayacut of 15 lakh acres and revive another five lakh acres in the next four years under the minor irrigation sector. The Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy, before leaving for Adilabad to participate in Rajiv Palle Baata on Sunday discussed the proposed action plan. It would benefit nearly eight lakh families of farmers and create 15 crore man days.
