Eight passengers were injured in a freak train mishap at Dhone Railway Station in Kurnool district on Tuesday evening. Three of them including a woman who was rushed to the General Hospital sustained serious injuries. According to reports, the accident occurred when railway staff members were attached a spare engine to the passenger train which was proceeding to Hubli from Guntur. The diesel loco which was hauling another loco which was hauling another loco to the stationary train got detached from each other and rammed into the coaches. Under the impact three coaches jumped off the rails a feet up and rested back on the rails.
