Naxals surrender in Warangal

Warangal, April 6, 2005

Fifteen naxals belonging to various extremists groups surrendered before the DIG BL Meena on Wednesday. They included five Maoists, four dalam members of the Janashakti, one dalam member of the CPUSI, one dalam member of New Democracy, one member of the Praja Pratighatana and two of the Adivasi Liberation Tigers. Mr.Meena urged the naxalites to join the mainstream by taking advantage of the rehabilitation package being extended by the State Government.
