Maoists set ablaze three APSRTC buses in the district on Wednesday night near Kodair in protest against the killing of the district committee secretary, Srisailam and his wife Pushpakka in an encounter.
In Nalgonda, naxals torched an RTC bus at Vizag colony in Chandampet mandal in a broad day light. Naxals blasted the Mandal Parishad office building at Talakondapally mandal headquarters in the early hours. The suspected Maoists shot dead a BJP leader at Telkapalluy a mandal headquarters in the district.
