Hyderabad, April 30, 2005

For the first time in the last five years, the results of the SSC took a downswing with only 72.41 percent students clearing the examinations as against 80.41 percent last year.

The Minister for School Education, N.Rajyalakshmi who released the results on Saturday said it was no indication of falling standards but marinating standards. Girls fared well as compared with boys in this year. The supplementary examination will begin on 26th May and would continue upto 8th June.
