Home Minister appeal for help to eliminate extremism

Ongole - Prakasam, April 29, 2005

The Home Minister, K Jana Reddy has appealed to all political parties, intellectuals and human rights organizations to help the Government to check the menance of extremism and maintain law and order more effectively.

Speaking to press persons on Thursday, he condemned that the attack on the Superintendent of Police Mahesh Chandra Ladda by the Maoists on Wednesday. He said that Maoists could not come to power through violence. He complimented the SP for effectively dealing with naxals and marinating law and order in the district and expressed happiness that he escaped unhurt.
