In a first of the kind recovery made from the naxals, the police stumbled upon rocket launchers in Ananthapur district. They were among the huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosive material which were recovered from the Maoist dumps in the Nallamala forest across Kurnool and Prakasam districts to be displayed by the DGP on Monday. The recovery was made from 13 dumps in Prakasam and three in Kurnool districts during intensified combing of the forest by the police.
