Nine naxals surrender in Viziangaram

Vijayanagaram, April 23, 2005

Nine naxals of Kondabaridi dalam members of the CPI (Maoist) surrendered before the SP, Swati Lakra on Saturday. The SP said in a release that all of them were trained in use of arms and had surrendered voluntarily expecting police raids on their villages in the wake of the firing incident at Tummikamanuguda on 19th April in which a reserved inspector of APSP battalion and a head constable suffered bullet injuries.
