Eleven persons were injured as naxals of the CPI (Maoist) triggered a landmine blast targeting the vehicle of the Praja Patham team near Gundala mandal on Tuesday.
A vehicle occupied by two police officials and ten jawans had a narrow escape. Another vehicle carrying eight officials, including MPDO, a Doctor, a veterinary doctor and four constables was caught in the blast. When the police reiterated, the naxals managed to escape.
