Naxal dies in police station

Karimnagar, April 12, 2005

A militant of the CPI (Maoist) naxal group reportedly died in police custody in the interior Kataram police station on Monday night. The Godavarikhani ASP Ch Srikanth said that the police had arrested the naxals and recovered two landmines from his possession. The mother of the naxal alleged that he died due to third degree torture by the police.
