Ministerial teams to go for talks with naxals
Hyderabad

The State Government has announced its representatives for the talks along with the seven member team to monitor the talks. The representatives announced by the Home Minister, K.Jana Reddy, the ministers are D.Prasada Rao, D.Redya Naik, K.Rangarao and the former ministers T.Purushottam Rao, Keshav Rao and P.Venkatarao and Marri Sahashidar Reddy, MLA and Tirupati Urban Development Authority Chairman, Karunkar Reddy. The mediators were the civil liberties activist and senior advocate KG Kannabiraman, Potturi Venkateswara Rao, Bojja Tharakam, G.Haragopal, Keshav Rao Yadav, ABK Prasad and S.Seshaiah.

The Government announced twenty member team to monitoring committee to supervise the talks between the two parties on Tuesday. As far as 30th Peoples War meeting is concerned, the Government has treated it as any other public meeting and necessary police bandobust and security arrangements have arranged.

The Chief Minister after having video conference with the District Collectors, SPs and other officials to review the law and order situation has directed them to go to the naxal affected areas and apprise the situation before taking up steps to ensure basic amenities.

Nandi Awards announced
Hyderabad

The movie 'Okkadu' has bagged seven Nandi Awards including the second best film and the best director award for Guna Sekhar in the Nandi awards for the year 2003 while Missamma was adjudged as the best feature film. Missamma won four awards including the best actress award for Bhoomika Chawla. Mahesh Babu was named the best actor for his performance in 'Nijam'.

The third best award goes to 'Neeku Nenu Naaku Nuvvu'. The best supporting actor award goes to Murali Mohan and best supporting actress goes to Talluri Rameshwari.
