Naxals peace talks - Security responsibility by Police
Hyderabad

The scheduled direct talks between Naxals and Government on the 15th October, the security for naxals who are participating in the talks are in the hands of the Police Department right from the day of 11th to till the talks are over. The police have been instructed to safe guard them from they came out from the underworld till they left to forest areas.

A special team consisting of higher ups has been constituted to supervise the security arrangements by the police department. All arrangements have been made for the stay and security for the naxals in Hyderabad. On 11th inst. The naxals will attend a meeting at Guttikonda and almost all the top leaders are participating and they also obtained permission for the assembly. On 13th October, another meeting will take place in Munuguru in Khammam district and then they will proceed to Hyderabad for participating in the talks.

The Peoples War and Janasakhati will be participating in the talks. The actual venue and time will be announced on 14th October by the Government in consultation with the naxal leaders.
