Bye elections at Asiffnagar and Siddipet Assembly segments goes peacefully
Hyderabad

Polling in the Asiffnagar and Siddipet Assembly by elections passed off peacefully barring a few untoward incidents. Nearly forty percent voters exercised their franchise in Asiffnagar while nearly sixty percent in Siddipet constituencies.

Counting of votes will be taken on Saturday and the results will be announced immediately. Leaders of various parties complained to the CEO M.Narayanarao against malpractices on each other.

Peace talks will be held within constitutional framework

The Andhra Pradesh Government which is holding peace talks between the revolutionary parties and the Government will take place within the constitutional framework. The Government is prepared to go to any extent in finding a way out for the issue and the thee issues were identified within the limits of the State Government.

On land reforms and issues concerning social and gender justice, the Chief Minister is ready to do the extra work if necessary.

Case filed against sub-registrar

Employees of the Sub-Registrar's Office have filed a case in the East police station against a sub registrar on the charge that he has taken away some vital documents from the office. One of the two sub registrars had allegedly removed a huge volume containing sensitive documents from the record.

The police seized three guns and arrested two persons in Kurnool district on Wednesday night. According to reports, the police carried out extensive rids as part of Blue Fox Operation last night and arrested two persons in this connection.

Partial solar eclipse
Hyderabad

There will be two eclipses occur in this month. A partial solar eclipse on 14th October and a total lunar eclipse on 28th October. According to the Amateur Astronomers' Association, the partial eclipse occurs on new moon day and begins at 6.24am and ends at 10.34am. This will be the second solar eclipse this year. The total lunar eclipse will occur on full moon day and with be the last eclipse of the year and it will begins at 6.24am and end 10.24am. However, both the eclipses will not be visible in India.

Fake currency notes recovered in Rajahmundy
Rajahmundy

The Rajahmundry police have busted a fake currency racket in East Godavari district and arrested a gang of 11 persons on the charge of circulating fake currency notes in the district. The SP Navin Chand told reporters at the Rajanagaram police station on Wednesday that fake currency notes valuing Rs.3.49 lakhs were seized.
