The AP Dalit Samakhya will organize a 'dignity rally' from 22nd November to December 10th culminating into a public meeting coinciding with the Human Rights Day. The rally will pass through Anantapur, Kurnool and Mahabubnagar districts. The founder president of the Samakhya, K.Swami Das said the rally was intended to highlight its demands, which included eradication of untouchability, distribution of five acres of land to each Dalit family, effective implementation of SC,STAtrocities (Prevention) Act and eradication of child Labour and rehabilitation of scavengers.
