Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi leaves for Kancheepuram
Mahabubnagar

The Junior Acharya of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi left by road to Kancheepuram with 'Z' category security escort. In a convey over a dozen of vehicles, he left Mahabubnagar around 8pm in the night.

In a message to the devotees, he said 'Let us remain united and pray for peace. There is no reason for us to get involved in things which do not concern us directly. Please offer special prayers. There is no need to worry for any thing'.

Maoists gets permission for their meeting
Hyderabad

The Maoist leaders made a last request to the Government on Sunday seeking permission for holding a meeting at Hyderabad. The Home Minister after discussing with the Chief Minister and APCC president gave the permission for holding a meeting at Uppal but requested them not to provoke people and cooperate with the police department.

The leaders thanked the Chief Minister and Home Minister for giving them permission and also requested the police not to stop the public who are attending the meeting to be held on Tuesday. This is first meeting to be organized after their merger.

Chief Minister inaugurates Microsoft office at Manikonda
MicrosoftHyderabad

The Chief Minister after inaugurating the new campus of Microsoft at Manikonda, adjacent to the Indian School of Business on Monday said the Government want to replicate and even do more than the previous Government has done in the IT Sector.

It is the endeavor of the Government was to take IT to the doorstep of villagers and common man by providing the required connectivity in two to three years. The Chief Executive Officer of the Microsoft laid the foundation stone for the second building on the campus.

Microsoft is expecting to increase its headcount at the Software Development facility from the existing number of 200 to 500 by 2005.
