Minor Girl molested in Anantapur-three held
Anantapur
A ninth class girl student was allegedly molested by seven youths in the JNTU Engineering College ground here last night. The police have taken three youths into custody. According to the police sources, the 14 year old girl is studying in St.Joseph School and was taken forcibly by two youth on their two wheelers while she was talking on front of new medical college buildings on the engineering college road.

Congress alleges TDP of provoking people

The AP Congress Committee on Saturday charged the TDP Government with provoking people in Andhra Region to come on to the road in the name of integrated State and ridiculed the way it was using the name of late Potti Sriramulu. Addressing a press conference Mr.K.Rosaiah and Mohammad Jani chief spokesman respectively said it was surprising that the TDP was resorting to such cheap tactics, forgetting the fact that it was ruling the State and had the responsibility of marinating peace in the state.

The Holi revelry ended in a tragedy as a 17 year old body was drowned in the sea at Ramakakrishna beach here on Saturday.
28 bombs recovered - five arrested
Guntur
Twenty eight country bombs were recovered from a haystack in yerragulapadu village in Phirangeepuram mandal of Guntur district on Saturday and fiver persons were arrested in this connection.
Poll code violation-notice served on former MP

The additional Chief Electoral Officer Ajay Sawhney said that the Adilabad District Collector in his capacity as District Election Officer had issued notices to the former Adilabad MP S.Venugopalachary and few others seeking explanation on their participation in an inauguration function recently. A notice was also served on a former MLA in Krishna district for a similar 'violation'.
