Film actor Jaggayya passes away
Hyderabad
The booming voice of Telugu cinema has fallen silent. Padma Bhushan Jaggayya breathed his last in Chennai on Friday. He was 76. A journalist, actor, movie maker, broadcaster, artiste and poet, he was the first Telugu field hero to get elected to Lok Sabha. Jaggayya ruled the yesterday matnee scene in almost all movies he starred - prominently with Akkinneni Nageswara Rao and Dr. NT Rama Rao.
BJP finalizes Advani's tour programme

90 houses destroyed in fire
Ongole
90 houses destroyed in a fire that broke out at Adi Andhra Christian Colony of Polepally in Donakonda mandal on Friday. According to information , the mishap occurred when fire emanated from one house. The estimated loss is said to be Rs.50 lakhs.
Siddarth gets bail from High Court

Siddarth Reddy - the accused in upcoming telugu film actor Pratyusha's suicide has been granted bail by the High Court. It may be recalled that the Metropolitan Sessions Judge on 23 Feb 2004 in its judgment sentenced to five years RI and a fine of Rs.6,000/- as he was found guilty of suicide attempt by Pratyusha.
