BJP men go berserk over seat sharing

The protests in the BJP over seat sharing with the TDP took a violent turn on Thursday with irate activists from the Malakpet Assembly constituency ransacking furniture and breaking glass panes of the State BJP office while another group of workers staged a noisy dharna at its main entrance demand that the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat be retained.

The Congress on Thursday witnessed demonstrations against its leadership over seat adjustments. Seat arrangement with the TRS sparked off protests in the party with the blame coming to rest on the PCC president D.Srinivas and senior Congress leader G.Venkataswamy. Groups of activists from Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad city and Adilabad descended on Gandhi Bhavan to stage dharna.
