One child dead, four other hurt in bomb blast in Cuddapah
Cuddapah
One child died and four other children sustained burn injuries when the bombs hidden near a haystack in Brahmanapalle village in Kondapuram mandal of Jammalamadugu constituency exploded on Wednesday. The bombs were unssuspectedly picked up by the children. The Jammalamadu DSP Govinda Raju, and other police officials visited the scene and registered a case.
Two held for theft - valuables recovered in Visakhapatnam

The police on Tuesday arrested two men and recovered from them property worth Rs.1 lakh, including gold ornaments weighing ten tolas and a motor cycle.
Cheating case against ICDS

The four Town crime police arrested two persons registered a case against the city branch of Industrial Credit and Development Syndicate Ltd., on a complaint from a depositor. The company, with head office at Manipal in Karkataka, has several branches all over the country. It had opened the local branch in 1990 and offered double the amount on fixed deposits within a period of three and half years.One depositor deposited Rs 80,000 and on maturity the company paid only Rs16,000/- and its Assistant Manager told the depositors that there was no possibility of paying the full amount and later closed the office and shifted the furniture without any intimation.
APPSC Group I Main examination in August

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will conduct the Main examination of Group I services at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Warangal from August 18th. The examination notification was issued on November 21 last year, a press release issued by the Commission said on Wednesday.
