Circle Inspector suspended-Sri Lakshmi murder case

The Police department has started initiating action against police officers for their 'complacency' about complaints lodged by the MCA student, Sri Lakshmi, who was recently murdered. The Department on Friday suspended Lakshmipati, CI of Anti-Goonda Squad till the completion of the investigation.
It may be recalled that Ms. Sri Lakshmi, a student of Sarada PG College in Vijayawada was murdered in the college premises by her class mate during Viva-Voce session at the College.

TDP Leader murder - Congress activists arrested

The TDP councilor M.Saleem Bahsa who was murdered on June 7th, the police arrested five Congress activists who were involved in the case. Four country made bombs and three hunting sickles were seized according the SP, Anil Kumar.
