The Cine actor N.Balakrishna who has been in judicial custody for the last 20 days following the arrest charges of shooting two persons, were granted conditional bail by the Metropolitan Sessions Judge of the Nampally Criminal Courts on Friday

Circle Inspector suspended-Sri Lakshmi murder case

The Police department has started initiating action against police officers for their 'complacency' about complaints lodged by the MCA student, Sri Lakshmi, who was recently murdered. The Department on Friday suspended Lakshmipati, CI of Anti-Goonda Squad till the completion of the investigation.
It may be recalled that Ms. Sri Lakshmi, a student of Sarada PG College in Vijayawada was murdered in the college premises by her class mate during Viva-Voce session at the College.
