Ram Vilas Paswan's intervention sought
Visakhapatnam
Several trade union leaders have sought the intervention of Union Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan sought for getting clearance to expand the capacity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. In a memorandum submitted to him during his one day visit on Wednesday, the unions stated that the public sector unit could get better market share if the capacity was expanded.

CPI(ML) accepts Government's Invitation

The State Committee of the CPI(ML) Janashakthi has accepted the Government's invitation for talks and supported the issues put forth by the Government and PW for creation of a conductive atmosphere for holding discussions on the naxals issues. In a statement, the secretary of the State Committee said it would come out with its detailed views shortly on some more steps to be taken by the Government.

One farmer in Khammam committed suicide in MRO office despite the assurance given by the MRO to settle the case and assured all possible help he could do.
Micro credit to Mangrove dependent families

The M.S.Swaminathan Research Foundation has come forward to provide micro-credit driven enterprises for strengthening the livelihood of mangrove-depended families. At a function held Corangi, seven Self-help groups and Dindu villages were provided Rs.2.19 lakhs as interest free loan.
