Addressing huge and expected turnouts at Praja Sadassu, Mr.N.Chandra Babu Naidu has stated his party is prepared for simultaneous elections as indications are poring in for Lok Sabha elections. He severely criticized the Congress and left parties. He stated that the assurances given by the Congress like free supply of electectrity to weaker sections which is highly impossible. The TDP believed that Polavaram project was the only permanent solution for drinking water for that he is striving very hard for achieving the same. A new policy would be announced for the youth as harnessing youth energy was key to State's development.

The Union Minister for Agriculture Rajnath Singh has assured Congress leaders that the Centre will take steps for purchase of paddy damaged in the recent cyclone in Krishna, Guntur and West Godavari Districts. The crop damaged was estimated at Rs.350 crores in Krishna District alone.
