As per the police, he is in sound health and has said that he was not kidnapped rather he had gone on his on own will to settle financial disputes with his business partners and there is no involvement of Dawood company as suspected earlier.
Oil conservation fortnight at Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has achieved a significant saving in the use of lubricants. This was announced at a meeting got up at the plant jointly with IOC as part of the Oil Conservation Fortnight being observed since January 16 to present awards to various departments and employees who had contributed to conservation of Petroleum products. The VSP spokesman said that oil conservation measures helped in bringing down the consumption of lubricants from 1885 tonnes in 1998-99 to 1487 tonnes in 2002-2003 despite higher production.
