Hyderabad A Writ petition which was filed by Congress against the assets of the A.P.Chief Minister N.Chandra Babu Naidu seeking CBI enquiry which was rejected by the Supreme Court a little over ten days back A fresh case with more evidence was filed by Kanna Lakshminarayana,Amooslu told the reporters in Gandhi Bhavan .In 1988 the assets of Mr.Naidu is said to be Rs.36thousands and in the statement submitted to the Assembly Mr.Naidu has stated his income is Rs.9crores as on 1.4.99. |

Visakhapatnam The National Ship Design and Research Centre on Monday celebrated its 10th anniversary with the resolve to double its turnover by 2006. Speaking to the press, its director P Sambandan said the centre was poised to post Rs .11 crores turnover during the current fiscal and NSDRC's optimism stemmed from the new business opportunities opening up like computation of ports and design and marking of machines for counting and banding of currency notes and detecting counterfeits. |

Hyderabad The agitating Junior Doctors in the State reached 38th day and the talks between the JAC of the Medicos with the Principal Secretary for Medical and Health failed as both sides sticking to heir stand on the issue of "essentiality certificates" given to 12 medical colleges functioning allegedly without students. There was no meeting ground between the two on this only subject that was transacted and the talks open to the press ended dramatically with the student leaders walking out with protesting against the attitude of the Principal Secretary. |
