Bogus voters comes to 64 lakhs

In a statement State Election Commissioner Mr.M.Narayanararao has said the process of correction of voters list has come to one final stage and detected and eliminated a record of 64 lakh bogus voters from the existing one. He said this is the first of its kind of elimination of bogus voters on huge level.

Since the elimination processes has been completed, the State Election Commissioner in a press conference said that the lists will be displayed in all pooling stations from 20th for a one week and if any ones name is not included, within 15 days the concerned voter can repot the same to the District Collector for inclusion. From this election onwards electronic voting machines are being used through out the country and BHEL has already supplied 4.50lakhs machines and another 60 thousand are likely to be supplied before March.

In the Stamps scam an in depth enquiry in all angles is demanded by the Congress official representative Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu. He stated that big hands have been involved in the scam.
