Congress and Left Parties are stopping progress - CM

The Chief Minister Mr.Naidu severally attacked Congress and left parties while releasing the Vision Document. He commented that the role of the opposition parties which is expected to play is not doing so instead they are stopping the growth of the state developmental activities. He criticized that while Karnataka was constructing dams, now they are commenting about lack of water in the state.

Voters List - Erring Officials to be punished

The Election Commission has asked the State Chief Electoral Officer and the Chief Secretary to punish guilty officials and political leaders responsible for enrolling bogus voters in the revision of electoral rolls and rectify the lists. The State Electoral officer on Thursday stated if prima-facie evidence was found in case of election officials, they would be prosecuted.

Panels for Unaided Professional Colleges

The much awaited committees for supervising the administrative and academic aspects of unaided professional colleges in the Sate as per the Supreme Court judgment were constituted pm Thursday. The names appeared in examining various aspects are
Bayyapu Reddy to head fee fixation panel. R.Rangarao chief of Permanent Committee the both are former judges of AP High Court. The committee will review admission, fee controversies ; colleges have to submit account, many colleges may go with CET.

Heavy Security in Visakhapatnam in view of CM visit

Visakhapatnam
On the eve of the visit of Chief Minister in the district, Police officials along with revenue officials have reviewed the security arrangements during his two days stay in the city. Mr.Prasada rao, Commissioner of Police and S.K.Jain,SP along with the personal security officer of the C.M who had been camping here to identify weak points and strengthen security. The Commissioner said that two platoons of Armed Reserve police personnel were brought in for this specific purpose along with 100 home guards, four DSPs 60 SIs 15 CIs and 400 constables. Meanwhile the State Government has despached one comp[any of CRPF personnel to conduct combing operations.
