| Protest against 'repression' of Hukumpeta tribals |

Visakhatnam The TDP came in for severe criticism for allegedly unleashing "repression" against tribals agitating for house sites at Hukumpeta which the opposition leaders said betrayed its anti poor attitude. The CPI and CPI (M) leaders were addressing a meeting got up by AP Girijan Samithi here today to protest against the police lathicharge on tribals who had occupied Government land in Hukumpeta for house sites. |

Nalgonda Naxalites held a gram Sabha last night at Pedda Muigal village of Chandampet mandal asking villagers to stay away from electioneering and polling. Twenty five naxalites, including five women reached the village from Nerudugomma where they created havoc the previous night and asked villagers to assemble at the southern part of the village. |

Hyderabad The last date for sale and receipt of DSC application forms has been extended up to March 10th. However, there will be no change in the examination schedule and they will be conducted on April 4,5 and 6th. |
