Sriharikota At least five persons were reportedly killed and three were seriously injured in a blast at a plant making sold propellant at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. The blast occurred at 3.50pm at a huge facility called the Solid Propellant Booster Plant when the sold propellant after curing, was being moved from one building to another for further tests. The propellant caught fire resulting in the blast. |

Hyderabad Mr. Siddartha Reddy, the accused in the death case of Pratyusha was sentenced to five years RI and a fine of Rs.6,000/- as he was found guilty of suicide attempt and abetting Pratyusha to commit suicide. The judgment was delivered by the Metropolitan Sessions Judge on Monday.
