The ACB officials on Saturday raided the house of the Commercial Tax Officer, Nidadavolu, P.Nageswara Rao at Guntur along with that of the relative and confiscated moveable and immovable properties worth Rs.45 lakhs. The ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police, C.Uday Kumar, the investigating Inspector, Vijay Kumar and other staff raided the houses and arrested Nageswara Rao for possessing assets disproportionate to his known assets.

A native of Korutla in Karimnagar district I.Laxmi Narasiah was arrested on the charge of attempting to fly to Dubai claiming the passport of another person as his own at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Friday. He confessed to officials that he was not holding a valid passport.
