Warm welcome to the Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy at Visakhapatnam

The Chief Minister, YS.Rajasekhara Reddy has visited Visakhapatnam on 29th and received a glorious welcome from the citizens of Visakhapatnam. The Mininister for Commercial Taxes, Konatala Ramakrishna and Mayor Rajana Ramani along with many congress leaders and union leaders at Visakhapatnam Airport welcomed him.

After greeting him, he left to Payakaraopeta by a special helicopter to participate in 'Rajiv Palle Bata' programme.In a grand meeting, he promised and announced that administrative clearance will be given to Polavaram left Canal which will benefit the farmers of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari Districts.

He said that nearly Rs.390 crores will be distributed as loans to the farmers and in the present Khariff season only nearly Rs.275 crores will be sanctioned to the farmers. He stated that in the next five years nearly 40 lakhs houses will be constructed and distributed to the eligible ones unlike previous government.
Lashkar Terrorists arrested in Hyderabad

On a tip of, the Lashkar-e-Taiba had planned to demolish Lord Vijayaka Temple in Hyderabad; the Special Task Force has conducted raids in four areas where Lord Vijayaka Temples are situated. According to the available information, the terrorists tried to smash the Lord Vijayaka Temple and create communal clashes. During the raids, the Special Task force have arrested six terrorists and recovered three kilos Ammonium Nitrate, Galantine Sticks and a revolver along with a car and five motor cycles.

The police arrested four persons belong to the TDP and the Congress and seized 26 country made bombs from their possession on Sunday.
Krishna Murty took charge as EO

G.Krishnamurty took over charge as the Executive Officer of Srisailam temple on Sunday. Mr.Murty who holds the rank of the Additional Commissioner of Endowments Department was posted last night following a swift move on Saturday after the Chief Minister, YS.Rajasekhara Reddy's visit.
