CM click starts Rajiv Internet Project - Chiluvuru named Rajiv Internet Village
Hyderabad
On the eve of the 60th Birthday of Rajiv Gandhi, the Chief Minister, YS.Rajasekhara Reddy has click starts IT into villages. To start with, the Chief Minister launched a video conference between the Collector and inhabitants of Chiluvuru in Duggirala mandal of Guntur district. The programme for taking information technology to villages is named a Rajiv Internet Village. This is the first cyber village in the state.
Rajiv Internet Villages project in East Godavari

The Collector, KS.Jawahar Reddy has said that a total of 320 Rajiv Internet villages will come up in East Godavari district by the end of December. Inaugurating the eSeva centre at Kovvada village on Friday, he said rural community development would be possible only when the results of the advancements made in Science and Technology reached rural masses.
12 fishermen found missing in the sea
Visakhapatnam
A fishing trawler capsized in the Sand heads area of Bay of Bengal around mid night on Thursday. According to reports reaching here, the trawler carrying 13 fishermen capsized and 12 fishermen found missing while one picked up by another fishing vessel four hours after this mishap.

The Coast Guard at Visakhapatnam with one of its ships and two helicopters were pressed into service and rescue operations are going on according to DIG of Coast Guard DBS.Prasad.
Snakes rescued from poachers
Visakhapatnam
Green Mercy, a local NGO espousing the cause of animal welfare seized 12 snakes from poachers during raids conducted by them. Out of 12, two are pythons, four rat snakes and six cobras according to the executive director KV.Ramana Murty on Friday. He appealed the general public to information on illegal transportation of snakes to Green Mercy on mobile phone No. 9848414658.
Three farmers commit suicide

Three farmers from the Karimnagar district committed suicide due to debts and failure of crops by consuming pesticides.
