Naxal distribute lands in Chavitidibbalu village

A group of People War group led by Jagadeesh, East Division secretary, Kadabala Anand Konalova area committee held public meeting at Chavitidibbalu village of Y.Ramavaram mandal in the agency area on Tuesday and distributed 200 acres of lands belonging to non-tribals to the tribals living in four surrounding villages.

Before the meeting, they had announced the formation of a village committee consisting of a secretary and seven others as members of publicity was given for the same.
Balakrishna's watchman murder-mystery surrounds
Hyderabad
The noted cine actor Balakrishna's watchman's murder by some robbers before decamping with Rs.50, 000/- in after Tuesday's midnight creates mystery. The robbers gain entry in the house without any weapons, killed the watchman with granite. There is every scope of doubts about the way in which the killing and robbery happened.

They only took Rs. 50,000 leaving most valuable things in the house. The police without any primary enquiry came to conclusion that it is the act of robbers. According media and others expressed when the incidence occurred around 12.30 to 1.00, Balalkrishna's family members informed the police only at around 3am. There is much confusion about the statements that the patrolling police have got signed by the watchman at the time they stated to be murdered. Several questions unanswered.
60 students taken ill after mid-day meal
Ongole
Nearly 60 students were taken ill in primary school at T.Kothapalli in Pullalacheruvu mandal of Prakasam district after they took mid day meal. Immediately, they were taken to nearby hospital for treatment and one of the students stated to be serious.
YSR visits temple in a queue

The Chief Minister, YS.Rajasekhara Reddy visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple where he was received with traditional ‘Isti Kappal' temple honours and was taken into the sanctum sanatorium. Unlike others, he visitited the temple and have the darshan of the Lord and joined in queue. The Chief Minister also inspected the dismantled site of the thousand pillar mandapam, and TTD higher ups were called and sought details on the issue.
Chandrababu Naidu asks Congress to end political violence

The TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu asked the Congress to put an end to political violence in the State in the larger interests of democracy. Mr.Naidu, accompanied by the party workers proceeded to Anantapur on Wednesday in a huge convoy of vehicles addressing meetings at Dhone and other places and mobilizing public opinion against the political killings in Anantapur and Kurnool district.
Loans to farmers by bankers

The Minister for State for Revenue, Darmana Prasada Rao had a meeting with different bankers, cooperatives societies in the Assembly hall of the District Collector. He advised the bankers to sanction loans to the farmers during this Khariff season and rains are very favourable. In the meeting, Bhimi MLA Karri Seetharam, Madugula MLA Karanam Dharmsri, Narsipatnam MLA Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu, Chintapalli MLA Demudu and District Collector Praveen Prakash, joint collector and other officials participated.
