The Chief Secretary, Mohan Kanda, on Tuesday agreed to a suggestion that a month's salary be paid as advance to teachers working in areas adjoining the districts where the Krishna Pushakarams are to be organized later this month. This decision was taken at a meeting convened in the Secretariat, according to a press release issued by the AP Progressive Recognized Teachers Union leaders.
