Chandrababu Naidu calls for amendment in law against legislatures with criminal background

Chief Minister and TDP Party Leader N Chandrababu Naidu said that it is really necessary to bring a legislature amendment that prohibits legislatures with criminal backgrounds. He said that a separate force needs to be established other that the CID to look at financials scams. He said that the party has suspended Krishna Yadav involved in fake stamp paper scams. He questioned about the delay in the action since the Karnataka and Maharastra Governments have not specified much about the scam for the last 12 years.

He quoted that 'issues like this was not taken lightly'. He said that the party has succeed in giving a message to the people that criminals will not be allowed to sit. He asked the oppositions to come forward for an amendment and asked their active support in this regard.

Speaking on TDPs programs, he said that the programs aren't new and were there since he came to the party. He dismissed oppositions comments that the programs were an election stunt. Speaking on Congress Party, he said that 'congress party is always going in a negative and destructive manner and that they never thought in a positive manner'.

He has taken part in a TDP Party program at Kuppam and is leaving for Italy tonight.
