Telangana Martyrs Day observed and Hyderabad Liberation Day observed
Galaxy of BJP Leaders at a program marked for Telangana Martyrs Day Telangana Martyrs Day observed
The Telangana Martyrs Day was observed today by all political parties today in the Telangana region. This is the first time that the historic day drew such a great attention.

The Bharateeya Janatha Party garlanded the statue of Patel statue at a program held to mark the day. Top members of the Party including Ministers Vidyasagara Rao, Bandaru Dattatreya, former Union BJP President Chilakam Ramachandra Rao apart from state leaders have taken part in the program. Minister Bandru Dattatreya said that he will talk with Union Minister Murali Manohar Joshi on possible introduction of the struggle for the Telangana region as a lesson at school level so that we will never forget the historic day.

Union Minister Vidyasagara Rao said that time has come for the whole country to recognize the historic day. He inaugurated the 'Amaradhamam' at Parakala in Warangal. The State BJP Unit asked the Government to observe September 17 as a holiday.

Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud said that poverty is a prime problem of the state and once it is brought down, we can happily say that the real freedom has come. He said that the Government is committed to get rid of poverty but the process takes some time.

The Telangana Congress observed the Telangana day by garlanding the statue of freedom fighter Sardar Vallahbai Patel. Freedom fighters were felicitated. Freedom fighters took a rally near the State Assembly n Hyderabad to pay homage on the occasion of the Hyderabad Liberation Day.

TRS observs Telangana Martyrs Day
Telangana Rastra Samithi said that the Telangana region will get statehood next year. The Party President K Chandrasekhar Rao hoisted the flag at the Party office in Hyderabad. Later, he hoisted the party flag. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy were the prime accused who were responsible for not developing the region. The Youth division of the party organized a blood donation camp.

The Warangal District Congress observed the Telangana Freedom day today. The Indian National Flag was hoisted.
